a bit to 'clip art' visually BUt the idea of the shopping basket a a jail or cage is valid.

Thx for the feedback Jeff. Do you think I should lose the clipart feel
on the prisoner?

I really liked this one! Maybe the prisoner should be more in contrast to the rest of the background?

i tried to blend the prisoner to look
more grungy so that he blends in with the environment, but I'm not sure thats what Jeff meant. what do you think Ingrid?

agree to a degree with jeff and also that much of the poster is 'too nice' and too 'photo-shoppy'
....but the essence of the idea
(we're all trapped within a shopping basket) has much potential, I beleive.
Whether we should be seen as prisoners could be debated?
Are we willing prisoners?
If prisoners trapped within'fix of modern consumerism' then possibly there should be more than one (male, female) and that they should look like normal. ordinary folk.
Keep working on it and possibly also close into the basket more.

I really believe that as people
living inside that shoping basket is the only life we know. And the reason I used the prisoner was to make it clear that we are indeed "prisoners".
Then I thought, should i turn the basket upside down and make it look like a pet's cage?
And then put a jar of money and
write on it "human food". right next to the cage.
any suggestions?

I think you should go for the idea with the prisoner in the basket... And I think its a good idea to put it upside down! Im not sure about the food..... maybe its to complicated?
