I totally agree that you needed to show the environment in a more realistic war effected state and I think you have achieved this!
I do really love your idea and the poster is really working for me. Your improvements are making all the difference!
For me it works without the text however I know what your aim and message is, so I think you need to ask people who aren't designers and are unfamiliar with what you are doing and see if they understand without the text.
The use of imagery that you have used is strong on its own but I feel you still need some type just to confirm to the viewer the message your putting across. I also liked your previous caption of 'the environment, war's forgotten victim' its what made me think twice about your poster design because it's only when you put it in that context that I realised how true it was!
It's also nice to see how you've developed your designs by making subtle alterations! the Branches in the grenade give off a vein like appearance which I think works for your chosen issue. Keep up the good work!
Personally I think the background is too overpowering and the Grenade itself looks mis-alligned and possibly too big?
I think there could be a better way of showing the blood too, the intensity of the red feels a tad overpowering.
The poster does need a bit of text to put across the message, as you wont understand what it means without it. Though the "forgotten" is lost, colour wise and I think a better font could be chosen too.
Overall the ideas getting better.
it's an original idea, i just think you need to tone down all the red a bit, to make the grenade stand out better. i agree that it's better with the text.
I do agree with Morgan, that the grenade loses some of it's impact with the added background.
I'd try lowering the fill or opacity of the background.
I do think you need the type there somewhere, centrally with the logo.
But overall, coming along noicely.
Agree mostly here but I might re-look at the emphasis
