I have added the coat to show more life that was there before the law came into place. Not sure how realistic it looks though, any suggestions?

Love the fact that you left it black and white, gives a very cold/lifeless spin on the concept. showing life once present is a good way forward but how about you use something else apart from the coat? maybe a personal belonging like a picture of a family or loved one? you could take thepiture yourself and get hold of a worn out chair and wrap it up in barbwire? hope this helps.
