I find type as image always good. You've satirised it also, and I like the combination of that and a serious message.
How would this work in other languages? I'm sure countries like China would have totally different nursery rhymes. And their language is completely different. Perhaps incorporating some universal imagery relating to children would help? Toys, hanging mobiles, games, pencils, etc.
Very nice concept! It has a simplicity to it that works on the lowest understandable level.
I agree with the Language issue that matt mentioned. but also the strapline may need tweaking?
'children should learn songs, not weapons'
I understand what this means I'm just wandering if your would be scrutinized for the 'Learn weapons' implication? Just a thought, but overall good stuff!

Matt is right. Also the copy should be more punchy if you need to use it.

I think the idea is really good, but maybe you could use symbols/drawings/pictures of thing children should play with instead of weapons..?
