cashpoint/slot machine

This is another idea i'm currently working on. I've subverted a cash point together with an arcade gambling machine to express my personal opinion on the current banking collapse.

The cashpoint idea is potentially strong but you may need some other element for people to "get it" maybe try focussing in on one aspect of the function of the machine/fruit machine experience think about the graphic and sound/visual language of the respectivemachines

I think using a cash machine is visually strong as it's something most people use and can relate to. It may be interesting for you to look at the terminology that is used when using a cash machine and change it slightly to suit what you are trying to say just to give it that edge.

I think using the machine is quite interesting. I used to work for NCR the manufacturing company of this kind of ATM's and What personalises these machines to us is the card. It's the way we feed the machine so it can feed us. And what we each have is a pin number. So think of the secrecy and the feelings of fear that come with the feeling of keeping our posessions dear. I was watching Zeitgeist which I really recommend.
Talks about the Monetary system and the consumerism that lies within and out the structure of this system.
