Matt Preston - Update

An update on my previous entry.
Please click on the image to view it full.

I have sorted out how to make the image look better, however I am still unsure of how to contextualise the child labour element to it. In other words, I need to bring across how child labour is happening throughout the world, and Fairtrade aims to get rid of this, instead giving families their right to an income.

Should I use one image?
Should I do a collage within the coffee?

Also, I'm trying the image without the caption, or Fairtrade logo, to see if it has the same effect.
Any comments will be very much appreciated.

i think i would try to make it a collage, and maybe make them blend into the coffee so that its not so much a picture in your cup, but a reflection of the story behind it.. if u understand what i mean ?

its a good idea :)

Visually it looks stronger however I prefered the dramatic close up of the old cup.

Was thinking if you could possible try and show fairtrade helping the cause by having two mugs of coffee. One full and one empty and have contrasting images, try and work around the idea of their lives being 'full' or 'empty'??

I prefer the first one you designed because it looks better on the angles but i like this one for the image of the children inside the cup.

Visually I do feel this design is a lot stronger. However, I do think it needs type to portray the message, as at the moment I feel there is something missing from the overall design.

I don't necessarily think you need to do a collage within the coffee. I feel the simpler the better with this design, I don't think you need to overcrowd the coffee with visuals.

Overall though I really feel your design is improving and the message is strong!
